Error F22 on the display indicates that the water does not heat up to the temperature indicated in the program. It can occur in the process, and the washing will continue, although you cannot call it quality. Most often, the heating problem is critical, so the machine will stop completely.
If your model does not have a display, pay attention to the number of revolutions. In this case, three will light up immediately: 1000, 800 and 600 (or 800, 600 and 400), that is, all but one:
If there is no error, other symptoms may indicate problems with the temperature regime. So, after the end of the program, the laundry is still dirty or smells unpleasant. It is worth noting that sometimes this case is diagnosed erroneously, believing that the cold linen that you take out of the drum after washing is already a problem. But since rinsing always occurs in cold water, in this case there is no reason for panic.

What to do on your own?
- Try to de-energize the machine for a quarter of an hour and turn it on again. If the error is gone, then the fault in the electronics is to blame;
- Check the machine - perhaps it is because of it that the heating does not start.
What to repair?
If the steps described above did not help, most likely there is a problem with the heating or control elements. It could be:
- TEN. Its failure causes scale. To avoid this, carefully select the washing powder or liquid, or from time to time clean the heating element by running the washing machine idle with special means;
- Temperature sensor or NTC sensor. Replacing one or both of these parts will probably solve the problem;
- Control block. Failures in the module can also block the heater. Sometimes flashing is enough, in some cases a deeper repair or replacement is needed.
