If the F25 code appears on the control panel, it means that insufficiently clean water has entered the drum. Often an error occurs during the washing process. Accordingly, the program is interrupted, and the machine itself does not respond to button presses.
F25 can be a signal of two things. The most obvious answer is that the water is really muddy. But sometimes a situation indicates a malfunction of the sensor itself. In the latter case, repair is inevitable.
What to do?
First of all, you need to make sure that the washing machine is clean. For this:
- Check if dirty water drains successfully. If the drainage system is broken, then the sensor may well detect a problem. Remove the drain filter, rinse it, and also clean the drain hose under high pressure;
- Make sure that the water that enters the drum is clean. Perhaps the bottleneck here is poor water supply. If this is true, then you need to get the laundry and start the wash in hot water (at least 60 degrees) without things;
- Inspect the muddy water detection sensor. After repeated washing on it scale accumulateswhich interferes with its adequate performance. To prevent this from happening in the future, be sure to use only high-quality washing powder or liquid, and also occasionally carry out an empty washing cycle with descaling agents.
After the manipulations described above, it is worth rebooting the control system: disconnect the machine from the network for 10-15 minutes and start again. If the code is still on, most likely you will need to repair and replace components. Most often, the problem lies in the sensors - turbid water or liquid level - or requires urgent drain hose replacement or filter.
