One of the common mistakes related to washing water supply is code F28. It appears on the display if the machine is not gaining the required amount of water to the drum. In this case, accordingly, the program does not start or stops in the process.

How to reset code F28?
Often an unpleasant situation can be circumvented by simply rebooting the machine. To get started, try pressing the off / on button. (on / off) to reset the current task, and then select the desired program again. Did not help? Disconnect the machine from the network for a quarter of an hour, thus rebooting the control module. If the described code does not appear on the display after repeated switching on, the problem is solved.
If simple manipulations did not help, you will need to repair or replace the water flow sensor or control board. Also, sometimes the source of trouble can be poor water supply, so check if there is sufficient pressure in the pipes (0.2 atmosphere is considered to be an acceptable minimum) and if there is clogging in the water path, for example, in the inlet hose.
What is a flow sensor?
If all of the above checks pass, it seems that the weak point is the water flow sensor. Let's first understand what it is. If the pressure switch - the pressure sensor - shows how much water is currently in the drum, then the flow sensor detects only the incoming water. It works as follows:
- A turbine with a magnet and a toggle switch is installed in the filler valve;
- Passing through the valve, the water spins the turbine, the number of revolutions of which are an indicator of flow;
- The toggle switch switches as soon as a sufficient number of rotations has been recorded, and this signal is transmitted to the control board.
Although the mechanism of the sensor is simple, it can also break easily. We advise you to contact the master in order to quickly return your washing machine to operation.
