Error F44 indicates that the washing machine motor is not spinning in the opposite direction. This code does not occur by itself, usually it is accompanied by a sharp stop in the program. This error is classified as critical, and if it is not eliminated, then global engine damage and failure of the entire washing machine are possible. Therefore, if a dangerous code appears on the display, urgent need to take action.

What can you do yourself?
Even if the inherent symptoms of a critical electric motor problem are on the face, there is still a chance that a simple system malfunction caused the error. Try restarting the control module. To do this, turn off the machine for at least a quarter of an hour. If the code disappears after reconnecting, then you can continue to use it further.
It is also worth paying attention to the amount of laundry that you load into the drum. The instructions for each model of the washing machine indicate the maximum weight of the laundry. Do not neglect this restriction, since an overloaded machine often crashes. If in doubt, remove some of the loaded clothes from the tank, and then try to start the washing program again.
In the process, pay attention to how the laundry is distributed. Sometimes finer linen gets into the duvet cover and stumbles into a ball. Have you noticed this? Unravel and evenly distribute naughty underwear and try turning on the program again.

What needs to be repaired?
If the "home" treatment methods did not help, we advise you to contact a specialist. The F44 code usually signals a breakdown of the following components:
- Triac - a part on an electronic board that is responsible for supplying voltage;
- Relay on board
- The control board itself.
