Code F60 indicates a failure in the flow sensor - a sensor that records the speed at which water enters the tank. When the sensor breaks, the signal about water intake does not come to the control module. However, the washing machine may not draw water for other reasons, for example, corny because of clogging in the filter. Before proceeding with the repair of the flow sensor, we recommend eliminating other potential causes of breakdowns.
What you need to check at home?
- Make sure that the pressure in the water supply is sufficient to draw water;
- Check that the pressure is not too strong. In this case, turbulent turbulence occurs due to high pressure;
- Pay attention to the filters installed in front of the valve. Blockage can lead to the fact that even with a normal pressure, water will not enter the tank. Remove the filter screen and rinse it well. Then put it in place and try to run any program again.
What needs to be replaced?
If simple home-based methods of “treatment” did not help, then there is clearly a malfunction in one of the following components:
- The flow sensor is the first and main contender. You can try to replace it with your own hands, but it is better to entrust this work to a specialist;
- The wiring that powers the sensor also often fails and causes malfunctioning of the washing machine;
- Faults in the system board can be the cause of a wide variety of errors, and this is also one of them. It is not worth repairing the control module at home, but in the workshop this damage will be fixed quickly.
