Recently, more and more men are moving from shaving with a machine to using electric shavers. And this is really justified, since the electrical device allows you to quickly get rid of the bristles in almost any conditions: such a razor is convenient on a business trip and on a long trip. Practicality and reliability make electric shavers an integral men's accessory. If you properly care for the razor, clean and replace worn parts in time, the device will last for many years. Consider how to disassemble a brown razor.
There are two shaving systems: rotary and mesh. The Braun Series 3 electric shaver is one of the latest. The razor knife head has a standard device: a metal mesh that can bend, and a knife block. The mesh covers the knife, which during shaving makes reciprocating movements. This type of movement is provided by an electric vibrator. This part includes two solenoid coils and two springs, together they drive a clip with a knife block.
Dismantling and cleaning the razor
For the electric shaver to work properly, you must regularly monitor the status of the device. If you do not clean the knife heads for a long time, the quality of their work decreases rapidly, so we will consider how to correctly and easily disassemble and clean the razor Braun Series 3.
- First of all, after the procedure, you must turn off the device. If it works from the mains, unplug the plug.
- There are buttons next to the knife head, by clicking on which the knife head is removed.
- Next, you need to knock off the cut hairs. To do this, lightly tap the knife head on a flat surface. It is not recommended to use a brush! The mesh is very thin, the coarse fibers of the brush can disrupt its integrity.
- The electric shaver kit includes a soft brush, it can be used to clean the knife block.
- Then the razor head must be returned to its place, pressing it until it clicks.
An easier and more convenient way is water purification. Thus, it is possible to clean the razor both assembled and unassembled. It is recommended to use soap or detergent that does not contain abrasive particles.
Apply detergent, rinse off the foam, if the appliance is switched on (running on battery power!), Keep it under running water for a while longer. Turn off the electric shaver. Remove the mesh and knife block and leave to dry.
If razor cleaning occurs regularly enough using water, once a week it will be useful to apply a drop of light machine oil to the mesh and the cutting unit.
Knife replacement
The Braun Series 3 razor is equipped with a special indicator located on the handle, it will signal when it is time to change the knives.
It happens that after replacing the knives, the device starts to work slower than usual. In this case, it is recommended to disassemble it again and check whether the parts are installed correctly.
How to care for batteries?
In order for the device to serve for a long time and with high quality, it is absolutely necessary to be able to properly monitor the batteries. Let the device completely discharge at least once every six months - the device must be used until it is completely discharged. Then you need to fully charge the battery. Caution: Do not open the case! This will damage the device, in which case the warranty will not be paid.
What else to know
- Do not replace or modify the components of the adapter, as this may result in electric shock.
- The device can be dangerous for children, therefore it is necessary to store the electric shaver out of the reach of children.
- Protect the device from high temperatures, do not expose it to heating above 50 degrees for a long period of time.
- When charging for the first time, you must leave the shaver plugged in for four hours in a row.
- The charge indicator will show at what stage the process is. A green light indicates that charging is not yet complete. When the batteries are fully charged, the indicator will flash.
- Do not charge if the batteries are not fully discharged.
- If there is no time for charging, you can always connect the shaver to the mains using the special cord included in the kit.
Recommendations for a clean shave
Braun has developed several rules, following which you can achieve the most clean and comfortable shave:
- Shave before washing.
- Position the shaver at a right angle to the skin when shaving.
- Move the razor in the opposite direction to the hair growth, slightly stretching the skin.
- If the skin is sensitive skin, use aftershave.
- The mesh and the cutting unit must be replaced as they wear out and at least once every 18 months.
- Clean your shaver regularly, following all the rules described above.
